What candidates noticed after coaching

These notes refer to specific sessions — interview rehearsal, CV review, orientation, or path planning — not abstract praise.

Hospitality Interview Coaching

“The second role-play caught me when I rushed past the guest’s name. We slowed it down and practised a cleaner greeting. I still felt nervous in the real interview, but I knew what to do with my hands and my first sentence.”

Marta K.

Front-desk candidate, Leipzig

CV & Application Review

“My old CV listed every weekend job in the same dull line. The review forced me to describe stations, covers, and languages. One employer asked about a specific festival shift I had almost forgotten — that line earned the call.”

Jonas R.

Restaurant floor applicant, Hannover

Hospitality Career Path Consultation

“I wanted a supervisor title immediately. The consultation was honest: I needed stronger German handover notes and two more seasons of team coordination first. The 90-day list was less glamorous than I hoped, and more usable.”

Aisha T.

Housekeeping supervisor track, Berlin

Service-Role Orientation Briefing

“Nobody had explained how quiet the first Monday delivery window can be, then how loud the lunch spike gets. The orientation sheet stayed in my locker for weeks.”

Elena V.

Café service, Magdeburg

Extended story · Hospitality Interview Coaching

From rushed answers to a steadier night-audit interview

“We practised explaining a till discrepancy without sounding defensive. That exact question appeared. I would have preferred more German phrase drills in the package, yet the scenario work carried the interview.”

Daniel arrived with strong hotel experience abroad and a habit of answering before the question finished. In session one we rebuilt his opening: role, years, and the night-audit tasks he already owned.

Session two focused on discrepancy scenarios and how German supervisors expect calm reporting. He left with a short checklist and used it the morning of his interview.

He did not get the first offer he wanted — the hotel chose an internal candidate — but the second interview reused the same structure and led to a probation contract. He still refers to the written feedback when preparing for appraisals.
