What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and, where enabled, understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Blendsmartsystems uses essential cookies required for basic operation (such as remembering your cookie choice) and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them via the consent banner.
Types of cookies
Essential: required for consent storage and core site functions. These do not require consent under typical EU guidance for strictly necessary cookies, though we still offer a clear reject option for non-essential cookies.
Analytics: help us understand aggregate traffic patterns. They are used only after Accept. Rejecting them does not block coaching pages, forms, or content.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| blendsmartsystems_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Blendsmartsystems |
| _bms_session | Essential session continuity for form status messaging where applicable | Session | Blendsmartsystems |
| _bms_analytics | Optional aggregate visit measurement (set only after Accept) | 6 months | Blendsmartsystems |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can clear localStorage and cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking all cookies may reset your consent choice on the next visit.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may establish a connection to Google’s servers when pages load. Images may be loaded from Unsplash’s public CDN. Those providers may process technical connection data according to their own policies.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics does not remove access to coaching information, rates, or the contact form. Clearing essential consent storage may cause the banner to reappear.
